A group of female friends around 50 years old grapple with hot flashes, declining connective tissue, empty nest syndrome, parents with dementia, and the fear of being side-lined by both men and employers. However, they also navigate new romances, late-stage successes, newfound freedom, and a tremendous zest for life. ​
