Maude is 13 years old. She wants the black belt in karate as the youngest girl in her karate club ever. She trains with the adults, putting pressure on her physique, on her endurance and her dedication.

 

Her parents are supportive but are also worried as she is behind with the training due to a foot injury.  At the same time, the intensified karate training forces her to compromise a newly established community with the group of friends.

While Maude tries to learn the hundreds of positions from karate, she has to struggle with the feeling of missing it all. Can she be a karate warrior who loves Tik Tok dancing, candy floss and nailpolish in all colors of the rainbow?
